I’m on my way to Mexico this week to take part in the Mexico City Poetry Festival 2015! I’m so proud to be representing Nueva Zelanda (New Zealand) and to be getting Oceanic voices out into the world. I’ve never been to Mexico, so I’m really looking forward to the food and culture, and our group visit to the Teotihuacan Pyramids!
The festival runs from the 26th to the 29th of November, and it’s a jam packed programme of 52 writers from around the world, including two pulitzer prize winners, and other fantastic poets.
I will be in Poets from the five continents at the Templo Di Corpus Christi alongside Dinu Flamand (Romania), Victor Rodriguez Nunez (Cuba), Ahmed Al Shahawi (Egypt) and Zang Di from China. I’ll also be in a reading at the Museo del Estanquillo with Heike Fiedler (Switzerland), Mario Melendez (Chile), Ahmed Al Shahawi (Egypt) and Slave Gjiogjio Dimoski from Macedonia.
I’m really excited and I will definitely post about my trip when I get back, thank you for all of your love and support ❤

Congratulations and enjoy yourself
